Community
Who walks through these doors
Four paths into the temple. Bring nothing but yourself.
Hindu families in Berlin
Aarti, samskara and weddings in your own city — not 460 km away.
Students & tech professionals
Newly arrived from India. A second family around the corner, not only an office.
Interfaith couples
Sanskrit for the mantras, German or English for the relatives. Both families experience the same ceremony.
Curious neighbours
School groups, walkers, the curious. Doors open, no booking, no entry fee.
Voices
Voices of our Bhaktas
What brings people through our doors — voices from across our community.
“I came on my own for an evening Aarti, not knowing a soul. Someone handed me a song sheet and made space on the mat — I left feeling I had family in this city.”
Student, new to Berlin
Visits most weekends
“We used to drive for hours to find a temple for our son's first ceremony. Now it's a tram ride away — and watching the gopuram rise, you realise the whole community built this together.”
Young family, Neukölln
Here for every samskara
“My wife is German, I'm Tamil. Here the mantras are in Sanskrit and the welcome is in both our languages — both families felt at home at the same ceremony.”
Interfaith couple
Married at the temple
“I live around the corner and wandered in out of curiosity. No entry fee, no questions — just tea, quiet, and people glad to explain everything.”
Neighbour from the Hasenheide
First-time visitor
“I came for one Aarti and kept coming back to help. Watching the temple reach its final weeks, you feel the whole community carried it here, stone by stone.”
Weekend volunteer
Neukölln
“For years we prayed in the wooden hall next door and dreamed of this day. Now the murtis are in place and the inauguration is near — twenty years of seva, finally home.”
